FPX Nickel Corp. is a pure-play nickel development company which holds a 100% interest in the PEA-stage Decar nickel project located in central British Columbia. The PEA models Decar among the top-15 nickel mines in the world by annual output, with on-site operating costs in the lowest quartile of the nickel cost curve (US$2.75/lb) over a 24-year mine life. FPX Nickel is led by President & CEO Martin Turenne, and its board members include Peter Bradshaw (ex-Placer Dome, member Canadian Mining Hall of Fame), Rob Pease (ex-Chairman Trek Mining and ex-CEO Terrane Metals, acquired by Thompson Creek for $650 million) Bill Myckatyn (former CEO Quadra FNX, acquired by KGHM for $3.5 billion).
